EDDY CURRECT TEST

One of the Material Testing Techniques Without Damaging the Test Object is Non-Destructive Testing or we often hear about Non-Destructive Testing or NDT, this test is carried out to ensure that the materials we use are still safe and have not passed the damage tolerance limit.
NDT is performed at least twice. first, from the beginning to the end of the fabrication process. it aims to determine a component that can be accepted after going through the stages of fabrication. The results of this NDT are used as part of component quality control. Second, NDT evaluation is carried out after the components have been used for a certain period of time. The goal is to find a partial failure before it exceeds its damage tolerance.
From the type of presence of cracks, damage or defects in NDT materials can be divided into 2 types, namely: surface cracks and inside cracks. It is recommended that at the time of testing the target must be determined (eg surface crack or inside crack), then the appropriate NDT method should be used.
