ULTRASONIC TEST

Ultrasonic Testing (UT) is a part of non-destructive testing. Its work is based on the propagation of ultrasonic waves to a particular object or material being tested. In the most common UT applications, very short ultrasonic pulse waves with center frequencies ranging from 0.1-15 MHz, and sometimes up to 50 MHz, are transmitted into the material to detect internal defects or to characterize the material.
